Great sturdy hemp linen shorts. Will last you forever for the initial investment. Shorts have two front pockets, third, zippered one on the side of the left leg and fourth rear pocket with velcro tab on the right side. It's well pocketed! With Safari Shorts the Small size is about 32-34" in waist, about 40" in hips. Medium is 35-36" waist, about 42" hips, Large - 38" waist, 44" hips, XL - 38-40" wasit, 46" hips.
