Antique Button Rings (silver color band)
These beautiful rings are made from a collection of antique 18th century buttons. Each one is unique with original items. Average button age is 100 - 180 years, button size - 3/8" to 1/2" diameter. Ring size -adjustable. Each ring is unique. Current inventory as listed in options below (name of ring style is on the bottom left of the picture). A beautiful history about use of buttons: In older times, young ladies would pass the time creating a string of buttons called a "charm" string. It would begin with one large button called a "touch" button at the start of a long string. Friends and family members would present the young women the loveliest buttons they could find to be added to the charm string. After the one thousandth button was added, it is said Prince Charming would then come to claim his lady love. Unfortunately, very few of these strings ever reached completion. Now, that is a beautiful gift to your loved one - letting them know that the true love arrived and the bracelet is complete!
