"Thank you very much for your help. The package was at my doorstep yesterday. Anyway, no more worries! It is a beautiful shawl and I'll be sure to tell her where I ordered it from and about how wonderful
you've been!
Best regards, L.S."

"I got my package and everything fits…good call on tee!!  I really like the mauve salal tank, too.  And thanks for the market bag…I will definitely use it!  I really like this one because it is large but lightweight.  I usually keep a canvas bag folded in the pocket of my diaper bag when I’m out shopping, but all of the bags I have now are bulky so this one will be perfect." K.W.
"I love this company and their natural products ! just ordered yesterday pure cotton organic jeans, great !!! Look very chic and comfortable. As a customer and yoga teacher I support Natural Clothing Company at 100%. Please support organic and sustainable clothing. Do your part!" A.L.

"I received my order and LOVE both items!

T.S."

Earth Day - April 22, 2012!

Earth Day in SnohomishEarth Day in Snohomish celebration!
We started the whole week right with Earth Day Friend scavenger hunt game, which was fun and got the whole street in Historic Downtown Snohomish involved.

And on April 22nd... what a fabulous day! Fantastic music, weather and most important - great community! We had music, fun, green groups, individuals and businesses promoting eco-friendly life.. Location - Historic Downtown Snohomish.
Then, we showed a  "Carbon Nation" movie and had zero waste pot-luck party at The Riverside Gallery and Natural Clothing Co. Introduction to movie was by Chris Herman, founder of Edmonds Solar Co-op, the only co-op of that type in the state of Washington!

Music: artists of Tim Noah Thumbnail Theater, Dana Lyons, Chris Chisholm, Bone Poets Orchestra

Snohomish is an incredible eco-friendly community. We recycle, cook from scratch, stay away from spraying chemicals and fight hard for sustainable economy. You can see pictures below and pictures from past events at Earth Day 2010 and 2011

History of Earth Day

Earth Day FlagEarth Day, April 22,1970 was the birth of the modern environmental movement in the U.S. Earth Day founder Gaylord Nelson, a senator from Wisconsin, recalls this: "The objective was to organize a national demonstration of concern for the environment so large that it would shake up the political establishment and force this issue onto the national agenda. It was a gamble, but it worked." At that time, we were driving our big vehicles powered with leaded gasoline, factories were spouting pollution into the air, no strict guidelines for hazardous materials, no recycling. In 1969 infamous fire burst on Cuyahoga River, where sparks from a passing train ignited an oilslick in the polluted to extremes river.

So on April 22, 1970, 20 million Americans took to the streets, parks and auditoriums to demonstrate on behalf of a healthy, sustainable environment. That first Earth Day led to the creation of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, the passage of the Clean Air Act, the Clean Water Act and the Endangered Species Act. In 2010 Earth Day it was estimated that at least 1.5 billion people participated in different global events and programs.

Please, share your ideas or programs you are taking to honor Earth Day. We will be glad to post them here! Email us info (at) NaturalClothingCompany (dot) com.
